FOR INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES / KOREA-BOUND
Applying to Korean companies?
Your resume isn't a 자소서 yet.
Korean employers screen with a different format, different questions, and each company's own 인재상 ("ideal candidate" profile). We turn your resume or CV into a 자소서 that fits — natural Korean writing, not a translation.
From resume-speak to 자소서
Service Planning role / original English resume text
I want to join your company because I'm passionate about improving services from the user's perspective. I led an app renewal project at school and incorporated user feedback. This experience made me appreciate service planning.

해당 공고가 요구하는 'DAU 기반 전환율 개선' 역량에 맞춰, 교내 앱 리뉴얼에서 사용자 피드백 기반 A/B 테스트로 전환율 23%를 개선한 경험을 이 기업의 인재상('데이터 기반 문제해결')과 연결해 작성했습니다.
Same experience, restructured around what this specific company asks for — not a word-for-word translation of your resume.
How it works
Upload your resume or CV
No existing Korean 자소서? That's fine — start from your English resume/CV. PDF, DOCX, TXT supported.
Pick the posting
Search our DB or paste a job posting URL. We pull the JD and each company's own 인재상 (ideal-candidate profile).
Get a 자소서 recruiters recognize
Ready in 5–10 minutes — in Korean, English, or both. Every change comes with a plain-English reason.
Built for candidates new to Korean hiring
We decode 인재상 for you
Korean companies each publish their own 'ideal candidate' framework — there's no direct English equivalent. We research it and write toward it, not generic praise.
Fits Korea's 자소서 format, not CV format
지원동기 (motivation), 성장과정 (growth story), 성격의 장단점, 입사 후 포부 — we restructure your experience into the questions Korean HR actually asks, within strict character limits.
Natural Korean, not a translation
Output reads like it was written by someone fluent in Korean business writing — not machine-translated. That's the difference recruiters notice first.
Korean or English output — your choice
Most Korean employers expect a Korean 자소서 even from international candidates, unless the posting is explicitly English-track. We help you decide, then write in either language.

For most Korean conglomerates, SMEs, and public 공채 (open recruitment), Korean is expected — even from international applicants — unless the job posting explicitly says otherwise. Foreign-headquartered MNCs and some English-track postings accept English. Check the JD; if it's ambiguous, Korean is the safer default. You can generate either with this tool.
인재상 ("talent ideal") is a Korean-HR-specific concept: each company publishes its own official profile of the kind of person it wants to hire — values, mindset, sometimes explicit keywords. It has no exact English equivalent, and it's not the same as a generic "culture fit" statement. We research each company's 인재상 and connect your real experience to it, so your letter reads like it was written for that specific company.
No — we don't translate your resume sentence by sentence. We rewrite your experience in natural, professional Korean business writing, restructured around what the JD and company actually ask for. Sounding like a translation is the single biggest reason international candidates get filtered out before an interview, so it's the first thing we optimize for.
Yes. Unlike a domestic Korean applicant who usually already has a 자소서 from a past interview, most international candidates start here for the first time. Upload your English resume or CV and we'll restructure it into Korea's 자소서 format — including the character-limited questions Korean employers ask that a Western resume simply doesn't have.
We adjust the narrative, not just the language. Korean 자소서 tend to favor growth-and-teamwork framing (성장과정, collaboration) over pure individual-achievement framing common in English resumes. We keep your real accomplishments but reframe how they're told.
